Daniel’s Law Registration
Protect Yourself and Your Family With Daniel’s Law Registration
Following the 2020 passage of Daniel’s Law, which protects the home addresses and telephone numbers of judges, prosecutors, and law enforcement officers from public disclosure, the NJ Department of Community Affairs has launched the Daniel’s Law portal. This portal provides active and retired law enforcement officers and judges with the ability to have certain personal information redacted from public records.
Click on the screenshot to the left to download a document that provides step-by-step instructions for submitting a registration request via https://danielslaw.nj.gov. The portal allows you to link your myNewJersey account (same as MBOS) and then request your personal information to be redacted.
For more information about Daniel’s Law, read the NJ Dept. of Community Affairs’ recent announcement.
At KDNFS, we prioritize your safety. We encourage all staff members who are retired law enforcement officers to submit registration requests via the portal ASAP for your personal protection and that of your family.
